I personally run a full-time family of four, completely off-grid, very successfully and with very little effort. Yes, we made a few modifications to our lifestyle, i.e. we gave away our crockpot and switched to pressure cookers, switched from a drip coffee maker to a stylish percolator, invested in a propane refrigerator, and probably the biggest change of all...the kids no longer stay up all night watching tv and playing video games, which really was a healthy change for our family...and it could be for yours as well!
